Memento - Films in Class/ Film Club

Title: Memento Genre: Drama/Mystery/Thriller Today in class we watched Memento. It is about a man that has lost his memory after a burglary gone wrong that seemingly lead to the death of his wife. From this film I learned about the use of flashbacks and how much information you can give to the audience via these flashbacks. From the film I was inspired by the use of flashbacks. With each flashback, you thought you'd learn more, but you actually got a lot more confused than you were and had to wait till the end for the film to make total sense. I really enjoyed it though! And perhaps flashbacks could be considered in out opening sequence when we actually make one!
