Assignment #11: Draft Six.
This is the final draft of assignment 11, where we have our inspirational films, how we used film theory, why we used film theory, the storyboard, script and shot list for our final draft of our opening sequence and much more :)

Another Video On Drawing Storyboards:
Despite all of this help with drawing storyboards, I'm still terrible. I hope I've properly conveyed what our idea is though.
Drawing Storyboards.
I've only had to draw the storyboard once, and I was still not confident with what a storyboard should include. I did find a good YouTube video that helped me a bit :)

Reflection On Our Fourth Draft.
I think we have improved tons since our first draft! With every draft I feel we have made a significant improvement, even with minor things. I really liked the ending on this draft, although I do hope we can make further improvements for our fifth and final draft :)

Reflection On Draft Three.
I think that our third draft is a lot better than the previous two drafts. For those drafts, we didn't really have a character representation in mind, which wasn't a good thing, as our teacher was able to identify this. In response to this, we tried to properly form our character as a geeky teenager, through the use of simple clothes and through the use of geeky glasses. I think that with improvements to the character representation, our audience will be able to relate to her more easily.

Reflection On Our Second Draft.
For our second draft, our director no longer wanted to act as she felt uncomfortable doing so, and directing and acting was a lot of work for her to do. So for our second draft, our actress changed to Joanne, who is our Director Of Photography. Filming for this draft was interesting as we knew we could play with angles a bit more than we had done in the last one. We had a few difficulties with lighting though, as when the character's door swung open, lots of light flooded into the camera lens.
We were also fully aware of time constraints, and this time, didn't film enough! We were nearly 20 seconds under the perfect timing. The titles included bumped us up a bit, so we know for next time just how much we should film, whilst making sure not to go too much over or too much under.
Assignment #11: Draft Five
This is our most recent planning for our opening sequence :)

Helpful Blogs I've Found.
Whilst making assignments, I've found some really good blogs that have helped me tons. My TV Blog helped more for the exam section of this course, but overall, I'm really glad to have found such great examples of blogs that have a lot of useful information on them :)
